WRITTEN: 2000. SUMMARY: And Turning, Stay tells the story of Amy, a high school student, who has a tryst with her close friend, Mark, only to be disappointed when he tells her that he doesn't want a relationship with her. Their friends form a chorus of disapproval, as they condemn Mark for leading Amy on and letting her down. A series of scenes of love and betrayal form a vivid portrait of high school's emotional turmoil. The play opens and closes with the poem on the right. CAST: 5 Men, 5 Women. LENGTH: One-Act.
