Glass Houses
By Kellie Powell
WRITTEN: 2002.
SUMMARY: Glass Houses is the story of Seath, a recently singled twenty-something, who lives with
her gay best friend and lives cheaply from money she makes by selling her collages. (It's Bohemian,
it's cliche, it's lonely, but it's sweet.) The somewhat eclectic collection of characters find
themselves exploring issues of identity and sexuality, and Seath ultimately finds satisfaction in her
own uncertainty.
CAST: 3 Men, 3 Women.
LEGNTH: One-Act.
PAGES: 22.

SEATH
For the dozenth time, I don't want to have sex with Paul!
KEN
That's because you're a nun!
SEATH
Back me up here, Judy. Do you have sex with every guy who's interested? (Ken and Judy look at each
other, then laugh, as though at a private joke.) Gah, whatever, I can't win.
JUDY
How about if I set you up with someone else? I know a guy, you'll like him.
KEN
(Shocked.) Whaaa-?
JUDY
Relax, Ken. He's straight.
KEN
(Mocking.) "Relax Ken, he's straight. Mehmehmeh!"
