Well, things have calmed down a little. I still need status reports from all my crew heads... I'm starting to get really frightened about costumes... Basically I still have some serious I-Need-To-Get-My-Ass-In-Gear Anxiety about the show. On the plus side, I'm having a really creative time with my room - collaging, painting, decorating, etc... And I bought a really great stereo that I love. All I need now is a bookcase and a few more posters, and the room will be complete. My writing has pretty much been abandoned while I explore my fascination with visual art, but I hope to transition back into writing, probably once I finish reading Fahrenheit 451, which Dan loaned me. (Thanks, Dan!)
Here is a list of things I bought today - thumbtacks, colored paper, poster paints, batteries (AA), the new Blink182 CD, some cheap glue, a new incense holder, and a big $5 package of incense. There's a thunderstorm warning tonight, so I plan to spend the evening at home, directing a rehearsal and making magazine holders out of cereal boxes, just like I did when I was twelve. Maybe by candlelight. Ahhh, I'm giddy...
