The country is not going to war. At least, not a big war. Maybe one of those covert operations where they throw a few Smart Bombs down some chimneys, but not the kind of War with The Draft and Mass Casualties.

That would be unacceptable, and I would flee to Canada.

This whole thing is crazy. Everyone's watching CNN in the Lounge. (Talk about power of the Media.) I feel really bad for the people who have relatives in those cities, or even those buildings. But I'm waiting to see what's going to happen - it's just too early to get freaked out. Because the country is not going to war. Because I say so.

It's kind of like last year, on 4/20, with the death threats at U-High... Only on a much larger scale. Except with that, nothing happened, and with this - something terrible already has. But planes crash every day, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, floods - terrorist acts and disasters of every kind happen, and it has never scared my school like this.

I guess the U.S. will retaliate, as soon as we have someone to blame. Gods have mercy on us.
