Well, Importance opened (for real) tonight, and it apparently went very well and the audience was very receptive. Some small problems included a loud ISU fireworks display and a tree falling over during the performance, which prompted the following improv:
"Oh, my!" "They just don't make them like they used to."
Lots of people are having lots of private problems, and I'm discovering that I am fallible and am, from time to time, a real bitch, and I am, occasionally - wrong.
I have my speech piece, and I have advance copy of some beautiful Matt Shaw poetry. Colon-colon-swoooooons-colon-colon.
