I see no one has commented on my responses to the Friday Five. I can only assume this is because you are all sleeping in, and not because you don't love me. ::sniff::
Last night I bought a 32x burner. It cost me $90, but I get $60 in rebates. I also bought 50 CDR's for $12, but I'm getting $10 back. Yay rebates. Steve watched me part with my money. It was kind of pitiful. I'm not used to just handing over cash that way. In fact, I don't believe it's ever happened before. He watched me actually whisper, "Goodbye money. I'll see some of you again soon." My brother, in keeping with his recent uncharacteristically good nature, installed it for me, along with the USB 2 card I bought about a month ago. I'm still searching for RAM. I don't care what my father and Ventimiglia think, 96 is not enough.
The Sims download this week is a poster of the beloved Megan Dougherty, who is currently in Germany, and much-missed. The picture of her is so cute even she likes it, and you know how people are about pictures of themselves. You can download it from it's location in the left-hand column of this page. Rename it anything you like (as long as it ends in .iff) and place it in your C:\Program Files\Maxis\The Sims\GameData\UserObjects folder. It will appear under "Decorative." Oh, and please post a comment to let me know that you actually download it, because I might give this up after a month if no one actually responds.
