Preview is over. Yay! Last night the gang saw Scooby Doo (and I am actually still feeling a little ashamed). Then we rode through the country in the convertible, causing my own personal Hair-Related Hell on Earth. Tonight Steve and Chelle and I are going to see Men in Black II. My plans for Independence Day are to sleep and play The Sims, unless anyone has any better (sans-family) ideas.

And now... presenting... my schedule for next year:

IDS 100 - Foundations of Inquiry (Gen Ed) Tues/Thurs 11-12:15, Fairchild Hall 321
ENG 101 - Langauge and Composition (Gen Ed) Mon/Wed/Fri 11-11:50, Stevenson 250
CHE 102 - Chemistry and Society (Gen Ed) Tues/Thurs 9-9:50, Felmley Hall 133, lab 5-6:30pm Tues, Felmley Hall 302
PHI 104 - The Ideal Democracy (Gen Ed) 2-2:50, Stevenson 350
ENG 110 - Masterpieces of English Literature (Major) Edwards 235
Connections Group - English meets Fridays 1-1:50 in Stevenson 211, Wednesdays 10-10:50 in Stevenson 214

What sucks: I couldn't get into Spanish 112, Math 111 or any of the three theatre classes open to freshmen. I also don't have Friday or Wednesday afternoons completely free to spend with Dan.... boo potatoes. Plus my mom pointed out that my Chem Lab is going to take up the duration of the hours the dining hall is open, so Tuesdays may mean I only get to eat what I've hoarded in my dorm room or what Flex $ will cover.

What's all right: I don't start until 9:00 Mon-Thursday, and not until 11:00 on Fridays. I have Tuesday and Thursday afternoons free and

What's super-cool: I'm in "The Ideal Democracy," a philosophy class which only sophomores are supposed to be able to take in the fall. Frosh are not allowed to take Middle Core Gen Ed in the fall, but I get to because my advisor over-rode the system. Something (I'm thinking it was the ACT score) convinced him I was smarter than the average ISU freshman... *Cackle.*

What else is super-cool: Michelle: I have 12:00 free... at least I do on Mon/Wed/Fri. We'll do lunch. =)
