Sadly, I didn't get to have lunch with Michelle today, we had some sort of miscommunication. And, when I went to U-High at three to coach, no one had signed up with me. So I went down to the Thespian meeting, where I got to talk with Chelle and Sma and Allison for a little while. Katie Angston (sp?) drove me back to my dorms and we talked about theatrey things. And she said, "Part of me is a feminist, and part of me would be running around in a corset if it got the chance. And the two parts have little fights with each other." It got me thinking about all the ways that women seem to want to like oppressing themselves... Very strange. I'll need more time to be able to articulate my thoughts on this fully.

I went to Sex Toys Night by ISU PRIDE, which proved to be the same safe-sex lecture I've gotten every year since, like, freshman year, crossed with just a little bit of "Sunday Night Sex Show." All in all, the "horrible horrible things" were minimal. And I got to hold a baby. ::sigh:: I want one of those someday, maybe even two. Every time I see a baby my uterus tries to jump into my throat. ...What? Did someone say something about Velveeta? Yeah, yeah... as Rachel would say, "No uterus? No opinion!" Which I think "They" stole from my, "Let's see your goddamned ovaries, Chase?"

Wow. This was chock full 'a feminism, huh... I think I'm going to play some Bejeweled. =)
