Dan brought it to my attention last night that I am over-committed. To which I can really only say, "Damn."

Oh, and speaking of it being a small world - well, actually, we weren't speaking about that, but I was thinking about it, or something... I ran into Renata today! We were both just getting out of Spanish. She was with Ashvin and Eliz, they were arguing about whether China or Mesopotamia was the first civilization. (It was so Mesopotamia. I mean, duh squared!) And then I went to work, and I found out that Bri from Rambo House went to camp with Renata, and Bri's boyfriend Ben has physics with Dan this semester! At work, we just stuffed envelopes (I started to write "animals..." huh...) and talked, and then I went to Guerilla, where everyone shared their thoughts on various diversity themes. For some reason, I didn't talk the whole time, I guess 'cause the conversation didn't really approach where my thoughts were... or something. Weird. I'm really a very opinionated person, but I guess sometimes I just don't show it... Oh, and I'm working on writing a fun new quiz. Unfortunatley, I'm not collaborating with Steve on it. So it won't be cool or anything, it'll just be the same ten-question quiz with a nifty graphic at the end... But it will amuse me greatly... and one of the answers to the multiple choice questions will be, "I like the kind of girls who aren't." =)

Speaking of keeping myself amused while I should have been doing something productive... Today I wrote a poem while I was in English class, and it was depressing. And here's an excerpt:

through the window, this place looks so bleak
just the beginning of another winter week
counting passing minutes, counting lines on the page
repressing depression, stifling rage
my eyelids are heavy and the walls are closing in
days like this it seems like spring will never come again
it's colder within these walls than it is outside
just another day of a life and self denied

So... I want your opinions on a very important thing (not really). You have until Friday to cast your votes by posting in the comments.

What should I buy with the gift certificate I got from Best Buy?
A.) "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" Season One on DVD
B.) The new and excting "Lemmings" PC game
C.) Some digital videotapes ($24 will buy 3 tapes).
D.) "The Lord of the Rings" (PC game)
F.) "Morrowind" (PC game)
