Today I'm wearing two pairs of jeans and four shirts, simultaneously. It is cold as Josh's mother out there! My English class didn't suck nearly as much as usual, probably because Idiot-"Poet" is starting to twig on to the fact that every time he speaks, the entire class groans. Also because we compared Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Catcher on the Rye - it was to demonstrate what "Cultural Studies" is, but still. If you look closely, they really do have themes in common. Such as... different kinds of isolation experienced by adolescents. Holden longed for authentic experience without all the bullshit of small talk and petty deception, while the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles worked to protect truth and justice in a world that they could never fully be a part of.

"Do you have any idea what you're talking about?"
"No. Why? Do I sound like I do?"
--Clueless

Seriously though, it was fun times. Or at least considerably less painful than previous class periods. So, yeah, I'm psyched.
