I'm near-sighted. I have glasses. But I usually don't wear them. Partially because they make me feel self-conscious, partially because I never got into the habit, mostly out of sheer laziness.
My perscription isn't very severe, I'm not completely blind without my glasses. But a lot of the time, when people wave at me or yell my name from a distance, I don't recognize them.
So, if it seems like I have no idea who you are... now you know why. And if you've never suspected that I didn't recognize you... FOOLED YA!
