Name your top six T.V. shows, before reading the questions.
1. Six Feet Under
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer
3. The West Wing
4. My So-Called Life

1) Who is your favorite character from #2? (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Spike. I identify with him, because he's morally opportunistic. He's a bad-ass all through season two - but still human enough to hurt when his relationship with Dru is threatened. After the chip, he doesn't fit in anywhere. He can't be evil, but he can't really be good either. I really get that. And he "may be love's bitch," but he's "man enough" to admit it. I admire that a lot.
2) Who is your least favorite character from #4? (Danielle)
I freaking hate Danielle. I should feel bad for her because she's so ignored, but she's just so annoying. Much like Dawn in Buffy.
3) What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include? (Six Feet Under, Firefly)
This is impossible to contemplate, since one takes place 2000-2005 and one is set on a spaceship. If they did exist in the same century, I would have to imagine that the Serenity crew goes to Fisher & Sons for the funeral services of Wash and Book... Crossovers never really make sense, do they?
4) Who is your favorite ship from #6? (Law & Order)
I don't think there are any "ships" on Law & Order.
5) If you were to set one person from #3 and one person from #6 on a blind date, who would they be? (The West Wing) (Law & Order)
C.J. and Detective Briscoe. She fell for a secret service agent, a retired police officer is a similar thing. Except this would have to be pre-C.J.'s marriage to Danny.
6) If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do? (My So-Called Life)
Oh, my God, Brian Krakow. I would imagine that he would be 27 by now, not frozen at 15. We would read books to each other in a tree by flashlight, and then have really ridiculous amounts of sex.
7) If you could change one thing about #2's plot line, what would you change? (Buffy the Vampires Slayer)
I wish there was a way to remove Dawn, or at least make her less annoying. Also, I would have gotten rid of Riley much sooner.
8) Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them. (Firefly)
Zoey & Wash. I want a marriage a lot like that. She's a warrior woman, and he loves it. He's never threatened by how strong she is, he's never intimidated by her, he doesn't let that kind of fear get in the way.
9) If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be? (Six Feet Under, West Wing)
Well, I think Nate is the first name in the SFU credits, and he dies at the end anyway. I think that Leo is the first name in TWW credits, and he also dies at the end of the series. So... does it matter which one I save, if they're already dead?
10) If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose? (My So-Called Life)
I would remove the parents. That's all.
11) If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like, and what would their role be? (Law & Order)
A female cop. I think the show is getting one anyway. They've always had a female LT, but the cops have always been men.
12) What happens in your favourite episode of show #2? (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Buffy, Angel, Willow, Faith and Giles have to save the world from ending. They keep telling Xander to keep himself out of harm's way. He ends up saving the high school from exploding. While they're saving the world, he's saving them, and they don't even know about it. And they never have to. And, he loses his virginity to Faith.
13) If you could kill off one of the characters in #1, who would it be and how would you do it? (Six Feet Under)
The series finale really took care of this for me. They don't tell you how Billy dies, though they imply it will be from old age (he's alive when Brenda dies from natural causes), and I would have liked him to go from a drug overdose or maybe stabbing himself twice in the chest.
14) If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose? (The West Wing) (Firefly)
Firefly, because the West Wing cast is too grown up to really be much fun. The Firefly cast was probably more entertaining, by virtue of being younger, plus, I admire Joss Whedon more than Aaron Sorkin. They're both geniuses, don't get me wrong, but I love Joss just a little bit more.
15) If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
Brian Krakow (now, not at 15), and/or Xander or Oz from Buffy.
