At least thirteen people were killed today, and five were seriously injured, at the American Civil Association building on Front Street in Binghamton. It's being reported now that the gunman shot and killed himself.
I left Binghamton yesterday on the bus, so I've just been reading the news online all day and feeling terrible. Friends in Illinois who have heard the news have been calling and e-mailing, just to make sure I was okay, which is greatly appreciated.
